Aero pro race frame?
-
tange areo?
-
it looks like a near complete Aero pro. I love to see these rusty old mlngers, it's a reminder how old the metal we ride really is :daumenhoch:
Quality, i hope you can restore it Bob ;)
It's not going to be cheap to do it so if you want what it's worth stick it on ebay but i doubt you'll get three figures although the burner boys are a funny lot so you never know.
-
thanks bob i will give it a damn good clean and see how it scrubs up cheers ;)
-
looks like a aero pro , pedals are wrong tho
-
The Quicksilver badges are something else though? They are an Aussie MF that probably used the same stock as Raleigh. Seems weird if it's a bike in the UK and not something i've seen before so i'd try and salvage the stickers if you can, take plenty of photos of it and have a word with the Aussie crew for details because it's a rarity for sure in the UK.
PM coastvl on here he's the resident Aussie know it all, he can probably help.
-
dont know what the fook them pedals are any idea what yr cheers :)

they look like the remains of suntour's, without the cages.

The Quicksilver stickers are a surf company based down under, not the Quicksilver BMX we also have. Two completely different companies. The frame is a tange aero frame sold as a million different frames around the world. I have a 16" version as my sons rider.

yeah, you can buy similar quicksilver decals at most vw events, theyre surf, not bmx. probably stuck on to brighten it up when the originals were shagged.
i will be pleased if i am wrong tho, and youve found some rare aussie version.
-
thanks guys . i'm sure he has put the stickers on himself :idiot2:
