Title: My Skyway TA 24 is done
Post by: jimwise68 on October 13, 2012, 05:21 PM
After a morning at Rad shop, built my baby up:

Gone totally new school with it, nothing retro at all:

Custom made Proper Hubs (thanks Stodge for sorting that) and Demolition aero rims with blue nipples

Proper stem and LDC lever

Proper chainring and DMR vault pedals

LDC caliper

I love it, rides like silk and gearing is perfect.

No, bought them from Ultimate BMX.  :daumenhoch:

;D ;D ;D
Still got a few tweaks to do to it now that i have got it home  ;)

I have to say it is such a well balanced bike, would win a slow bicycle race on this so easily.

Great to see one without tupperware wheels  :daumenhoch:

What's wrong with the seat position?  ???

Looks alright to me

Preferred the golf

Had you got out of bed earlier and got to the shop at a reasonable time Pete you could have had a go.

Good to see you mate, albeit very briefly.

Thanks again to all at the Radshop  :4_17_5:

That does look real smooth.

oh yes i like it,is no body going with a skyway padset tho on these ??? :smitten:
Everyone had an email about pads. Just add another $39.99 to your order payment for them to be put in with your f/f.
Thing is after that it turns out only 40 sets were delivered to colored tuffs. So a few have a nice surprise waiting for them when they open the box. I'm hoping they will turn up sometime before the f/f are considered os, eds a busy man though. :coolsmiley:

Looks mint with its New School parts  :4_17_5: Still an O/S angle with all the Anno Blue though?

Still an O/S angle with all the Anno Blue though?

thats just your OS blinkered view  ;) :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:

New school parts do come in colours too  ::)

I was going to do it brown, black and chrome but couldnt get enough matching brown components to complete it, so after much deliberation went for the blue. Had to be as dark as i could get though as didnt want OS bright anno blue colours.  :)
