Title: Dying Repro Pads
Post by: Bananaman on July 11, 2006, 11:23 AM
Anyone tried it???????????

I have a set of Grey GT pads, really good and compared to my flite ones not a lot in it, I could never dye the real ones but thought about doin the repro ones black......

will it effect the lettering???

Any help would be appreciated before I wipe £50 worth of pads on me rusty bullet!

if its nylon, it should theoretically dye ok..

MMMmmm, its not the pad am worried about to be honest as it is nylon, just don't wanna fook up the lettering!!!!

I remember someone doin some Torker ones yellow to black i think :-\

I will take a pic of the offending pads!!

The letters look a bit rubber like :-[

me thinks they were originals but what does that matter as long as the lettering can take the heat and there are no lighter shades than you are dyeing  to. it should'nt be a problem

good luck let me know how they turn out
