Yeah, They're heavy! Back in the day with lots of Primo parts, a steel freecoaster hub & 4 pegs Mine was around 40 lbs easy I think  rolled rice though as momentum kept it going :LolLolLolLol:

Not sure, but dont offer to post them! :LolLolLolLol:
-
when ever I see a Warpig and a Sabbath next to each other I always think that one day I'll get a big house with a gated drive, and mount them on the gate pillars.
-
now that would look cool lol.
-
gate posts would look epic Alex, cracking idea, :daumenhoch:
they're two nice really nice frames dordy, never seen a white one before,
Imo, and its only my opinion, the Sabbath and the Warpig are easily in the top 10 most iconic bmx frames, fooking legends both,
if you've never handled and felt first hand the weight and sheer overbuilt beauty of a 90's heavyweight you can't really know bmx heritage,

Not wanting to stray too off topic, but .... talking of 90s weight:

No but id like it back.Chased the guy on ebay who i sold it to but he couldnt remember where it went.It had pitchforks with ad990 lugs, and grind marks on right hand rear drops.Have a pic of it somewhere.
-

Na, WAY to many of them to bother with. As well as those in the photo, I have a late 90s Challenger (20" and 24") and 2 NS frames but the rest are all 1". It'd be nice to have a Call Girl and a Berringer ???
-
I haven't even seen a call girl for sale forever, be a nice frame to have,
I picked this Sabbath sticker up years ago for a quid in a bike shop, I'd always wanted a Sabbath but was just way too tall for one, was riding this s&m RV back in 2005ish and it had no stickers so I used the Sab sticker, kind of seems a shame to have wasted it really,
second only to the Warpig sticker in the radness stakes imo...

-
so i won't get shot putting a opc in the sabbath then lookin at that magazine :).
-
Ooh. Amos's Sabbath. I remember riding that soon after he took his brakes off. It was so heavy, no brakes and a free coaster. It just rolled along in either direction and there was no stopping it. It was like riding a shopping trolley. A HEAVY Shopping trolley!
-
Mckinney, riding a prototype iirc.

they look like graveyard bars he's got on it?
-
Yes, Graveyard bars & sprocket, probably a Love Goat stem as well. Great vid :daumenhoch:
-
Nothing wrong with riding a opc if you ride flat :daumenhoch:
-
Anyway all this chat about McKinney, has he got a new Sabbath frame out other than the Intrikat?
-
set of them graveyard bars on ebay but they big money

No, the only flat frame they have is the Intrikat.
-
Although you can't see, Dave here is riding a sabbath lite, and yes, he's very strong. As far as I know, he still has the complete bike...

I got a Red, platformed Sabbath off Ebay years ago, probably '03/04ish? It had been opened up to 14mm & both rear drops had grind marks. The serial was S451 I think, I got it as I thought it might be in better condition than Mine but I sold it on shortly after & I haven't seen the buyer for years now.
-
Can somebody post this article on the thread then? please? my local stockist didn't get any this month.

I got one of the very 1st Lite ones in the country, think it was late 99 early 00.My drops where standard 14mm as i had to put some converters on my nankai freecoaster so couldn't have been mine.

Ah, so Yours didn't have the platform then if it was a Lite :daumenhoch: (although there was a platformed version made with a lighter tube set for the Far Eastern market apparently)

Sean McKinney ... the flat lander? Remember when we all rode a bit of everthing. Even if you had a short, steep, flatland bike with 4 pegs and a platform you'd still ride vert?
McKinney could ride flat AND vert better than most of us!!!

cool picture that is.
how ever he got that height on these bikes i'll never know as i can hardly lift mine :crazy2:
-
Great pic that Alex.I let Cong on my Sabbath and he got a pretty good height on the quarters and vert at Radlands.
