Ive just taken a look at this pk frame of mine - its the one I posted on here with the strange headtube collar - and it looks like this may be a reweld under the downtube? What do you think?

looks like it se usually spot on and neat look at all your others see if any were friday afternoon frames
ie someone wanted to get of home quick for the weekend

Looks like it has been repaired , anyone else ?? .

Defo been repaired I reckon . . . one of the PK's many weak points with heavier riding

I am pretty sure that is a reweld aswell.
It also looks like it has been ground down, as it is not a good flow.

thought it was a bit of a turkey - never mind, will hang it on the wall probably as it still looks pretty! Thanks for the help guys.

still, a weld is better than a crack

yes that is a re weld the ripper has a straigt line and is never double welded :daumenhoch:
