I was bidding on this Tioga Rhino III until it got pulled at 52 quid... >:(
it was badly listed, so I guess someone may have got a private bargain ?
Anyone buy it, and at what price?

I think it's a looky-likey :-\
You've probably dodged a bullet on that one.

Looked proper to me too :daumenhoch: Perhaps Paul is the one who snagged it and just washing off the scent ::) ;D

If you look closer the gusset is the wrong shape (it's length at the top tube, hole size & position).
There's no flared seat tube (from round to oval at the bottom) & the drop outs are too stumpy & fat.
Hard to make out if it even has the fluted top and down tube.
Apart from that... ;D ;)
Oh yeah, no Aero chain stays either.

Looks different to the one on the museum to me ???
No indentations and the chainstays on the museum one are aero tubing like on the TA whereas the one on ebay looks to have round tubes ???
But then again what the fcuk do I know

Was a copy and it wasn't a Rhino 3 anyway....no double butted tubing there.
There was no Tange stamp either....

The power of suggestion. It's a fake, there's been a hell of a lot over the years.
