Title: Skyway axle extenders/pegs/nuts/whatever!
Post by: dancetothedrummersbeat on October 24, 2012, 09:04 PM
For my next project i'm thinking of fitting skyway axle extenders (known as pegs to me bitd!). Will the threads fit on suzue hubs, or will they only fit on skyway tuffs? Thanks for your help!  :)

24TPI are the skyway thread, 26TPI are the good ole standard thread I believe. I think the skyway pegs were stamped 24t and standard obv 26T.

so, skyway pegs will not fit standard 26tpi axles? Did skyway also make a 26tpi version?

Skyway made both the 24 and 26tpi. Sometimes you will find it stamped on the pegs. Sometimes it was just on the packet.

Only on coaster I believe. My new ways were 24s. I did make screw on axle convertors for tho in 26tpi. Doubt they will come off tho.
