Title: Repop Dia Compe
Post by: sparky on November 03, 2012, 02:26 PM
I know DC has started to repop the 890's and 1000's but didn't know they'd started to do the cables too. :crazy2:

Great stuff. Moonster on the bay are re-issuing all the classic Japanese products with painstakingly detailed correctness.

I bought a NITTO post and a pair of MKS pedals from them. Bang on they are too, especially the post. The layback they do is only £30 posted. Chuck on a Kuwi decal and it's cheaper than any of the original ones up for sale, exact replica and stunning chrome work  :coolsmiley:

Good on them I say and keep up the good work Moonster  :daumenhoch:

The guy thats selling that cable on eBay - 'moonster_99' posts a lot over on the Museum.

He's based in Japan and is officially licensed to distribute stuff for DC and Izumi (and I think Tange/Tioga..??) so the stuff he's selling is legit - just not OS.

Seems like a nice bloke aswell.

If they are the same as the black dia tech ones they have been producing for some time then they will have a stamped barrel.
Although it's only the two letters dc they are not the same font as the 80's so you can tell them apart. :coolsmiley:
