Hi,
Has anyone tried taking some normal dice and making them into dicecaps ?
-
we used to do it at school in 1980, 2 ways to do it, drill a hole big enough to glue a dustcap inside, thats your first way..second way (ghetto way), drill a hole the same size as your valve, push it onto the valve & screw to create you own thread....there you go :)

I have just got some chrome ones off egay :coolsmiley:

yes, surprisingly, i agree with weston.

Done 'em both ways as a kid, you sometimes have to cut the top off the black valve cap to get it to sit flush, depends on the size of the dice you source...
-
do it as a kid
but not anymore
leave dice caps in the past!!

I remember Dordy asking about orange dice caps. Someone told him to do his own and put up a link to a site that had loads of di for sale in all sorts of colours. Think it was one of the Burner boyz.

I bought some of those a while back, and made a few sets quite succesfully. Just drilled through the number 1 and glued the valve cap in.
I got a bag of about 90 dice in assorted colours somewhere, but fooked if I can find 'em ::)
