Any part from roughly the right period that is getting used is fine with me. The first thing we did to our bikes was changed stuff which is why I have never and will never build a stock factory spec bike.
A decent set of spokes on a freestyle bike does float my boat though if I have to name my favourite part..... And good tyres fit for the bike's purpose.
-
i had a bike with no wheels on .. it was not easy to ride so when i saw another persons bmx with wheels on it made much more sense and i told myself 'i must have 2 of those' ! :P
-
Great to see a positive post :4_17_5:
These days it's great to see any 'Nos' parts on a build...even ones such as rat traps etc that I actually hated BITD... parts are getting rarer...
..variety is the spice of life ... the older and more obscure the more interesting :daumenhoch:

GT profiles are by far my favourite cranks. I own 3 pairs, one were NOS, one pair were mint and one pair I just got back from Hockley Chrome. The pair that have been re-chromed look better than the pair I got NOS.
I am also a big fan of suede Selle Italia saddles, and have recently bought a couple of NOS saddles to use on my Cruisers.
