alright guys
Ive got a few sets of these clear red jive grips (as below). Just wondering if its possible to dye these to black and whats best to use

some will say they won't and a few may say they will - best way to know is try on a set - just leave as long as you can in the dye ;)
RIT or Dylon
there is also acetate to add to the dye - see you tube

i,ve got a set of those in blue. used them for about a week then changed them, hard plastic feel about them not like the old soft rubber ones.

Sell them on and get black ones. Those things are hard as rock and terrible to ride with.

back in the day I used to boil new sets of grips in water on the hob, made them loads softed, may work for these perhaps?
also I cant find a black set ANYWHERE!

i love jive grips. sorry but none of these are for sale, these should last me the rest of my days.
