Title: Dying clear red grips?

Ive got a few sets of these clear red jive grips (as below). Just wondering if its possible to dye these to black and whats best to use

Post by: BENDYCAT ELEVENTEEN on November 13, 2012, 11:18 AM: some will say they won't and a few may say they will - best way to know is try on a set - just leave as long as you can in the dye ;)

there is also acetate to add to the dye - see you tube

back in the day I used to boil new sets of grips in water on the hob, made them loads softed, may work for these perhaps?

also I cant find a black set ANYWHERE!

Ive orgered some dye, going to give it a go this weekend
