Title: Flight Cranks (HELP / ADVICE NEEDED AGAIN!)
Post by: aaronsat on July 13, 2006, 08:50 PM
Hi - Need some advise about what axel and bottom bracket I need for these redline cranks...

My older brother brought them from Nelson Chanady (Factory GT rider - 1982 World Champ) and don’t think they have ever been mounted to a bike since.

Thought it seemed a shame for them to sit around.... plus, if they could be it for Nelson....Watch out Hesden!

You'll need to keep your eyes peeled on ebay for a six plined spindle with either the threads or not dependent on what bb is to be used, unsealed or sealed!

You could also have a look at the crupi site and see if they can still supply the old style spindles for their sealed set ups.

Nice cranks though!

You can also buy all NOS stuff from Ginny's. I bought a new spindle for my pinchless flites and it's spot on.
