Hardly anything ever comes up on gumtree but i always look.
Then i saw this
Can anyone confirm what type of Burner it is? Is it a mk2 cromo burner?
I think the tuffs have been dyed and it has the dreaded stuck seatpost.
Some ok parts though incl takagi one piece, sugino spider, chainring and bolts,Suntour power stem and Shimano freewheel.Tange bb.

good score, Mk2 Burner. Interested in the stem if you're splitting and selling :daumenhoch:
-
Yes will be splitting, only bought it for crank ,headset and bottom bracket :daumenhoch:
-
If the forks are sealed plug type (no end caps) then it's a stripped of it's gold supertuff mark 2 :daumenhoch:
-
Were they full cromoly then?
I thought they were steel? :-\

The mk1's were but on the mk2's, the higher you went up the range the better the frame composites got.
The basic models were mild steel, then the mid range was MT chromo and then the supertuff and ultra were Full Chromo.
This frame is a Supertuff frame as it was the only chrome plated Full chromo mk2 frame, the ultra been the other but was painted black and not chrome plated.
