got hold of this, anyone know what year it is or any details about it? wether the forks are original to the frame? was on ebay and threw in a random bid towards the end as it looked cool, ended up winning it!

-
yeah I never thought in a million years a my bid would win it.
I looked over on bmx museum but couldnt see any frames with that top tube gusset on

1992 Auburn CR20RX Jr
this has the gusset
ah cool, does the Jr part relate to top tube size?
-
yep id say they used to be 17.5 to 18.5 ish so maybe bit longer 19/19.5 in the 90s which is right for that .
someone with bit more knowledge may be able to clarify the sizes and the rear end and caliper mount position too as i think mini was made to fit calipers for 11/8 wheels and then there was junior and expert not sure which way round but one would be down from full size and fit 20 inch wheels /and 1/38 as well i think the other still small wheels only
-
yep id sy prob 17.5 or 18 maybe on small bikes
ah i see, so mine would be expert at 19.5"
-

It's from april 92, (0492 on the serial number, same system as GT) I guess it wouldn't have CR in the name because it's ally, so may start "AL20Jr" or something depending on exact model.
