Hi guys,
I'm new here. My name's Neil, I'm 39, I work as a prop and model maker for the film industry. I've not been collecting/building BMX for very long, but here are my bikes...
1982 Mongoose Pro Class.

1984 Mongoose Californian
I bought this from mattuknc. I've changed the pads and added black Mongoose stamped Takagi cranks, NOS Sugino chain ring, an NOS Pro Class Powerplate and some NOS SR MP470 pedals.

-
Welcome some nice bikes there :daumenhoch:
-
not into SE but the gooses are lovely !! :smitten:
-
great bikes obviously being in your job its all about attention to detail and i can see in your bikes you've put the same attention to detail in , all lovely things, my only minor thing for me is the tyres on a couple of them the pro class i'd like to see race tyres on rather than freestyle ones and same on the the ripper so gumwall comp 3's but saying that its only a minor observation, love the pro class satin powder looks great

Thanks for the welcome guys. It feels great to into this hobby. I always had good BMXs growing up, but they were always 3rd or 4th hand, a bit battered, even pulled from a pond ;)
Mongooses are my fave, I do have a soft spot for a PK though. I'm going to try to mix things up in my collection. I think my next builds will be a Nova and a Supergoose.
glenboy, I do get what you're saying. I have blue gum wall Comp 3s coming from the US for the Pro Class. I haven't been able to source gum walls for the 1 3/8s on the PK though.
Cheers
Neil
