I won't be getting one :daumenhoch:
-
What will be the total price to your door though?!?!?
-
delivery was $75 on top for the 24, + the 40 odd on import tax. It'll probably work out about £450 for f/f and bars. :-\

Think ill look out for a reet one!

I fancy one, build it up and ride it down the skatepark and pretend I was Billy Stupple BITD.....
-
Doesn't look a bad bit of kit really, bit overpriced, but they know they'll shift them.
A nod to the past, with some modern bits. Is it that much different to BMW doing the Mini, apart from 2 extra wheels.
I'm still not buying one though, but i'm not buying a real one either.

I wouldn't worry about it coming on time it'll most likely be October at the soonest before they turn up ,,,,,,,, plenty time for you to save up :LolLolLolLol:

Ordered. Each to their own, but I for one think it is awesome that the old companies are doing these and making newer versions of old classics. There's a place for old-old school and these as well IMHO

So if I read it right Matt, it's frame, fork and bars for $500 + $100 postage + customs charge of around $70 ???
$670 = £419
I think this frame set will look awesome with my Retro Skyways on :daumenhoch:

Hi guys sorry to drop in on your thread.
I'm quite tempted with 1 of these but was wondering if they really are any good. You know being a new bike etc they do look the mutts tho and am seriously gettin me 1 to do a custom build on over time just wondering how other users who have them have got on with them
:)
-
although these look :smitten: in the flesh they should have done what dom/haro did with the new gen 1 -usa bottom bracket and old school geometry :daumenhoch:
-
:LolLolLolLol: Old school geometry? Why would you want that? You need to be able to ride it so sod 18.5" top tubes. Move on and buy an old one if you want old school :daumenhoch:
-
Would love one of them XLs in the chrome "wantit"
-
Decent price but i could never ride something with V brakes :-X
Couldn't you grind the brake lugs off and drill the brake bridge for a rear calliper :-\
-
Suppose you could with the white one (which are only 300 notes now) but then that raises issues with selling it on to the uneducated :-\
-
i dont see the point in making any of these resissued frame sets old school with caliper brakes etc.
things have moved on for the better so use em 8)
-
Exactly dave, they have euro BBs so you can shimano external BBs with DXRs or whatever.........just get an old one for old school

Nice user name mate :(
-
do these have modern geometry ?
-
Yes
-
Bar the back end length though. Although I guess it's a race bike so ignore me.
