I know he doesn't need it, but I thought I'd big up Steve's work. He dropped off some padsets to me today and I love 'em.
The quality is outstanding. Cheers Steve.

very nice...what headset is that on the ripper? shame JDB will prevent the repro of Hutch pad sets.
-
They look awesome!! Real good quality by the looks of it :daumenhoch:

Nice pads. Think i may be calling on Steve's/Firebirds's services sometime in the future. :)
What's the going rate for a custom padset ?
-
Hutchman, it's a stamped Tuff Neck Pro.
CustardLips, you won't be disappointed. Drop Steve a line for pricing. I guess it depends on the artwork and I decided not to get stem pads. They are very reasonably priced though.
-
cheers VOS,but i'm on about the blue headset, not the stem. :daumenhoch:

Doh! Sorry mate. I got it from Porkchop. It's a Neco I think.

I can vouch for Steve's work. He's done 3 sets for me so far, 2 of which were custom ones. His service is spot on, and the prices are great considering the work he puts in and the quality of the product. Can't recommed Steve enough! :4_17_5:
+1 :daumenhoch:

Hmm this is starting to look like the threads for SBD's & Del's artistry. Should we start one? :daumenhoch:
-
You may want to run that by Steve? only he might be a bit 'twitchy' about companies asking about their brand being reproduced?

x2 , some manufacturers/organisations tend to lean on people if they don't like the look of something ;)

I have had many padsets over the years and hope I have always made my appreciation plane enough through messages upon receipt.
I've got to say I love seeing the work but these sort of threads do scare the crap out of me.
It just seems like a sure fire way of inadvertantly setting the padmaster up for that fatefull copyright infringement knock on the door .
Wouldn't there also be implications for the site by allowing them to run?
The museum isn't running scared about these issues for nothing.
