Does anybody know what spray to use when spraying the Z RIM stencils onto the rims. Can you use any spray or does it have to be a special spray paint for plastic surfaces?
Thanks
Adam

i would use a light dusting of a good all plastics primer then a couple of light coats of a satin black :daumenhoch:
-
i'd just straight on with the satin aerosol black, if you use grey primer first then go staight over the top with black without moving the stencil an outline of the primer under the black will be seen....
-
Plasticote would probably be the best. :daumenhoch:

not if you use a clear plastic primer

Thanks for your advice fellas. :daumenhoch:
you have to use a special paint for it that sticks straight on to plastic i know because i make paint for a living and if you put brakes on itll still wear off though because id have thought the originals would have been screen printed on

So does anyone know if there's a particular plastic paint that can be used without it rubbing off in 2 minutes?

I got some rub ons from Retrospect - look fine to me and way less hassle, you can apply them indoors whilst watching the TV or eating a sandwich, combing your hair - you name it :daumenhoch:

Ad I'm assuming your not gonna ride the bike once the wheels are fitted. In which case just use satin Matt black mate,I used it for some I did a while back and they were fine for show use :)

I've just got some rub ons from ebay in white. I think foot braking will be the preferred method of stopping then to prevent them coming off

You might as well fit a coaster hub or see Kappy for a disc conversion. :coolsmiley:

Thats 3 votes for rub ons, eBay seller is Retrospect or use Del, they really do look sweet :daumenhoch:

I've taken Phil Sawzalls advice and ordered some clear plastic primer which I'll post to you as soon as it gets to me Bendy.
