Title: 83 GT Nora Cup Resto - pics before and after! -

Rebuilt this one for a mate of mine - he is gonna come with us on august bank holiday for the annual southsea trip, so it's built as a rider (hence the comfy seat, and road tyres)

this is what it was like when i got it:

i reused the original:

frame + fork +  bars
chainring / spider
brakes (1000a's)
stem
seatclamp
nora cup sticker - the one on the frame was scrap. i got this one from the fork steerer tube - soaked it off in hot water then stuck it to the frame with double sided tape

Looks mighty fine, do love those early GT's, well any GT race bike really but that one looks ace  :smitten:

thanks guys

i spent about 110 quid on parts. second hand wheels for 20 quid - that i relaced / cleaned up.
New grips, seat, seatpost, tyres, stickers, cables, chain, freewheel, wheelnuts.

so it was done on a budget
