Can anyone tell me how to remove chrome from alloy rims without taking them apart.
Thanks ;)
-
leave out in the rain for 15 years ?
don't know if you can ?
are they 90's and flaking ?
-
I can come round and piss on them if you like , the chrome will evacuate within minutes
-
Yeah they are mid school hoffman
-
you cant mate
they need to go to a chromers for stripping
-
^^what Dave said, they will have to come apart and be stripped by chromers. :daumenhoch:
Is that your Sunbeam in the avatar?would be cool to see aome bigger pics! :daumenhoch:
-
Again what Dave said :daumenhoch:
But check with the chromers first as some won't touch aluminium :daumenhoch:

If the rims are Hoffman Gack mid-school rims, they're identical to the Hoffman Generator 48's that they still made up to a couple of years ago (apart from the decals). Give BMX City or the like a ring, and you should be able to pick up a set of 48's for around £30 (waaay cheaper than a strip/re-chrome).
