Hey all,
Should have signed up on here years ago! I bought a 2007 Anniversary Team Raleigh on eBay about 4 years ago. Started replacing all the crap bits on it with some NOS kit and then got the bug bad.
So I bought a 1982 mongoose frame and forks and built it up from scratch with a mix of NOS and new. I know there's some beautiful original bikes about but I want to ride mine so I went for the mix. The goose is my pride and joy though.
I never had a decent BMX as a kid as we couldn't afford one. So I had a BH BMX. Made in spain I think as a kind of cheap burner imitation but so weak. I went through about 3 headsets and stems as it just used to bend on landing from anything! Not ideal for a bike supposedly designed for rugged use lol! It was something like this:

I just wanted to say hi to everyone and I'll be posting some pics in Me and My Bikes shortly.
Cheers
Rob

Welcome to Radbmx Rob, hope you enjoy it here.
As for having a BH back in the day, most of us had entry level bikes. I had a Scorpion and then a Yamaha, neither of them worth much as my parents couldn't afford a good bike. However even though through the years I had much better bikes, I still love my first two bikes more than any other I own.
It is the nostalgia factor, it takes you back to the times when the summer seemed endless and every day was a hot sunny one.

Hello mate, welcome to RAD. Looking forward to seeing your bike or if you're anything like me not seeing your bikes. Been on here 2 years now and still haven't pulled my finger out.
