Bit late now but did you try the old handlebar stem clamped round it with a bar on the end "technique"?? lol

i did, but the stem was slightly to big to fit inside the seat post :2gunsfiring_v1:

my method worked in the end, it was heaven when it made that 'creek' noise , like when you take a car wheel off :LolLolLolLol:

I bought that torch from aldi about 4 years ago, it was Nos until today >:D

lube it up , drill it , crack it with a hammer a few times . stick a big screwy in the hole n twist it out . always works !

im keeping the seat post, these little things always come in handy for somethin' :daumenhoch:

never had to . my method even worked on a dumped outside frame and the 2 bits had corroded together and holed the seat tube ! came out !

Fair play :LolLolLolLol: ....Some of them can be a right arse!! Me and the Mrs have had a game of twisty tug of war in the garden on several occasions!! haha

Had the same problem,welded a tapped boss to the end of the seatpost,then attached a big slide hammer,came out easy,cut the boss off,still had 15" of good seatpost,frame was untouched :)
