I got offered some 4 piece bars today and im trying to date them to see if they will suit some of my midschool builds as i dont want them all to have the same bars .Ive already got builds for my slams,castillos and dirt bars the bars i dont know about are dk 4 piece same as on us ebay at the moment powerlite 4 piece and hoffman low drag. Any ideas or help please.

dk 4 piece first show up in 1999 in winstanleys ad
powerlite 4 piece first appear in oct 1995 in custom riders ad
hoffman low drag normal first show up in oct 1995 in custom riders
hoffman low drag oversized first show up in oct 1997 in custom riders ad
hoffman low drag were also remade in 2003 but have a slightly different shape

Gen 1 Kastans were 80's wernt they? (with a powerbend I think)

Yeah Kev - the freestyle bars are the 4-piece one's :daumenhoch:
From memory, they sort of re-hashed them in the late 90's due to the popularity of Moe's, Castillo's and Strip Bars. If you have a look on the Museum, you'll see the 4-piece DK's all have the older DK logo on 'em that DK stopped using post 95/6ish :)

I have some DK 4pc on my oldschool racebike, I thought they were from around 1990/91/92..??. Old Dk logo is on the sticker. They look like fred'z bars if that helps, stem tube is about 5 inches long and extends out beyond the base of the upward tubes.
