Nice Munny :daumenhoch: Really liking that :)
I know I'll get castigated for saying it, but I'd swap out the tans for all black tyres (awaits Ed's response) ;D

Nah, i'm off the `80's, so it has to be tans, plus, I haven't got any other black walls apart from some primo walls on my Pork, and they need to be on that.

Same fella - I was all about the tans up until about '98 :daumenhoch:
Ruddy lovely :)
-
lovely frame that Mark - I went back to that thread a dozen times pondering myself
in the end was a bit rich for me anyway but still loving it - look forward to seeing it in person soon and dibbs if you get bored :LolLolLolLol:
-
Om nom nom nom nom nom . I would ditch the seat and get a pivotal though
-
well I'm disappointed ... you usually pick something quirky and make it work ... bit normal for you :-\
I still love you
( ...and I forgive you Dan as you have proper Mid School credentials :daumenhoch: and you live in Suffolk and still point at planes )
Here's an interesting fact ... DannyWhac lives in 'Bury St Edmunds' and I grew up in a village called Hoxne where 'King Edmund' as he was then known was hiding from the Danes under Goldbrook bridge ... a wedding party passing over the bridge saw his spurs glinting in the water and grassed him up to the Danes. They caught him, tied him to a tree and shot him full of arrows. Then they cut his head off. When his followers came to find him they could only find the body, not the head... then they heard him calling and found his head being guarded by a wolf. He was then taken to what became known as Bury St Edmunds where his head miraculously rejoined to his body... which they decided was worth making him a Saint for and renaming the place he was buried.
Even TO THIS DAY it is very bad luck for any wedding parties to go over that bridge... and when the oak tree that he was supposed to have been killed on fell down they found arrow heads deep in the trunk.
Fascinating.

I like railed seat set ups - for some reason I just don't like pivotals with their little 'orifices' on top ;D
In fact one turned up today for my own bike :daumenhoch: so I guess I'm biased as well as backward

:smitten:
Lush Mark.............................very lush :4_17_5:

good to see a new school bike with a railed post too :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:
once the seat is changed it will look spot on :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:

Oooooooooooh Thats the shit!!!!! Nice nice nice nice nice!!! :smitten:
And nice fact too Ed :) ....Learn something new every day and all that :daumenhoch:

Oddyssey Aitken railed seat is on its way. tbh, I didn't know the frame will only take 3" of post up it, I had planned to use a `little bit laid-back' post on it, but needed to cut it down, and i'm not cutting down my best post, this'll have to do for now, I like combo seat/post set ups, but i'm all done spending this month.
Busting to have a go on it.

Its not that `mainstream'
and i'm all `quirked' out....
although you might like my next incarnation of the `assassin'...
still love you too.

balls
the fly one I got today came through different to the pic of what I ordered :tickedoff:
if they don't have one of those it's going back and the aitken was already in the basket
have a feeling we're gonna look like 'special seat friends' :-* ;D
-
its unlikely that they'll ever be seen together John, we both have them `up the cleft' whilst chatting most of the time,
don't worry, we both have the charisma to carry off `seat clash'

Looks very nice, I would be tempted to try Greifs red stem on there. What Aitken seat are you boys talking about the plain black one or the nightwolf or there was one on ebay that a radster was selling with the Gold stitching.

I used to smoke fags under that bridge too until Samantha Jones grassed me up. But I wasn't shot full of arrows so didn't die and didn't get a place named after me. Bury St. Edward would be a great place for mid schoolers to live though :daumenhoch:
-
oh and I don't like the chainwheel either as its pants ... but if it makes you ride like a good 'un then fucwhatithink :daumenhoch:
-
imagine having to live in town called fat fooker
-
That be lovely that! :smitten:
-
Had my eye on this frame, but bought a new telly the day before he listed it for sale
It's safe to say i'll get more use out of the telly ;D

Its a `only one in the world' one, I designed it in a hutch donutty style, sent the fag packet to Ronster (Ronnie Brain, formula 1 mechanic, dead good engineer and bmxer!) and this turned up, its brill.
