I need to use some thread lock on a Primo crankset.Whats the strongest guys?
-
The strongest is studlocker but that stuff isn't designed to be undone again....
I'd stick with medium strength threadlocker if I were you.
-
I can lock this thread ... its just a button press :)
-
I'll do the jokes thank you Edward. :-*

-
Agreed.
-
Its the insert that i want to threadlock as its stuck on the pedal.I thought if i threadlocked it back in i might get the pedal off ::) Will the Loctite hold it?
-
Oooooooooohhhh.................
Probably not.
I'd be looking to get that insert off the pedal on the bench somehow.
-
Mmmm back to the vice then ::)
-
It dont wanna come off.Anyone got a spare arm or pedal insert?
-
use the strongest threadlock to screw the insert with the pedal on back into the crank arm -leave it for a few days THEN try to undo the pedal :daumenhoch:
-
Will do Paul, may just have to run them with the snafu pedals they come with which are ok as riders!
-
i used to be pretty good at getting threads locked.
-
if you get stuck gaz give em to me and i'll see what i can do for ya :daumenhoch:
-
Cheers Paul :daumenhoch: Was thinking of flattening opposite sides of the insert and using a spanner on it but havent got the tools to do it!
