yeh mine's the unstamped one, from what I can find out from diff websites the mxII unstamped were us made five number serials were 79s six serials starting with 3 were 1980 and higher 81 so mine should be a 1980 (349990), looks good mines going to be slightly different, when I got my first bmx at the age of 13 was a bog standard magnum with cotterpin cranks, and one of my mates who's dad was well off had an MXII so this is going to be pretty much what I wanted at that time  :coolsmiley: but I moved onto PK Rippers after that and pretty much every make you could think of in the next 9 years  :idiot2:

I've got a yellow one of these with the same decals as you Chuddy - I think they're more in keeping with the age of the bike.

Beautiful old school bikes  :daumenhoch:

I'll get a pic of mine in the thread or to you tomorrow (or later today).

cheers for the comments, Will update soon. wait in for a few parts from the state's. building on a budget so a compromise on parts that look right but don't brake the bank.  more like what we used to thrash around three sisters bmx track back in the early eighties  :daumenhoch:

Well since my wife buying me the frame and forks as a xmas pressie   it's finally done (for now)  ;D turned out better than expected with the mix of what you can still get and what you can mix with it but still keep the 1980's feel, mxII F&F powdercoated white with the vbars, nos suntour copy stem, re issue mx1000 brake set with dc cable frame clips, white tuf pad type brake blocks, retro 36 spoke wheels (fat and thin tyre combo) of a new retro ripper & seat, re issue dc seatclamp, renthal post, dk crank, victor beartraps, sugino spider and 44 ring, generic red/metal chain, chrome freewheel, sharp bb boot, sst dirt skirt originally gold but airfix gloss red paint works wonders, landar headlock, ame grips and flite jumbo donuts. oh and not forgeting the absolutely brill padset from the padmaster and dice caps from another well known rad member.  :daumenhoch:

all in all well chuffed

cracking redline , a beautiful bike that and the colours are spot on looks great ,only minor thing for me is the seat,it looks too modern  whereas the other newwer parts blend in and look old school ,i just don't like it on there but thats just me  ;D, but everything else looks spot on to me , good job  :daumenhoch:
