Can't help with the ID but ill take the bars if your splitting. :daumenhoch:
-
Hi mate
to be honest would rather split than put back on e bay if some BMX boys will get a use for them.... I dont think there branded....
Steve
-
I'm sure someone will be along with an ID soon mate.Bendycat Eleventeen will probably be your man.My guess is some sort of Tange or a copy :daumenhoch:
-
cheers mate, I will probably split it then shove the rest on e bay, it is a lovely built frame and I assume the 83 in serial means year so good old school bike.
Steve
-
Wouldn't mind the stem and seat clamp if you split please :daumenhoch: Second's on the bars as well if CustardLips passes :)
-
Ok mate, I will do the £10 thing so I can list in for sale etc, Im always up for a swop too, I need a 44t chainring if anyone has one?
Right let me sort the £10 thing out so I can list all my bits.
Steve

Not sure what it is but it's not a Tange frame.
Could still be Japanese though. Looks well made whatever it is.
-
I would be interested in the frame and forks as a rider for My lad ...
-
pm sent regarding wheels,thx :)
-
If it was Tange made it would have serial T wouldnt it? Still it really is lovely frame and forks and the chrome is one of best ive seen on a 80s bmx.... Best in my collection of 35 anyway ha ha
Steve
-
been looking and can't find much - it will be one of those " i had one of those back in the day bmx's" when the right person see's it
not Tange
sort of like Akisu/Jen Min
most likely a Jap frame
it will be the YF that might give it away
polished up it will look sweet >:D and a few right parts will make it look cool 8)
-
Cheers Bendycat, strange there is another on e bay and no one knows ha ha...... I have polished it now and it is stunning and totally rust free. Also had some Kuwahara stickers floating about so put them on and it does look nice...... Thanks for info though....
I would imagine that someone on here will get it..... Just want to know what it is ha ha

I have a frame that no one knew - then i saw one advert in bmx action the size of a mtach box ~ i matched the frame up and now know what it is ;)
jen Min - aound '83 - japanesse made, looks very close to a TAnge made frame with good welds ;)
note the drop outs - so could be from the Gen Min range - i don't think they came with decals - just frame and forks (akisu on mine)

I wouldn't mind a look at that 8) :daumenhoch:
-
Will see if I can find it, but its nothing special !
-
here it is now with a few stickers...... Excuse the seat as its a new style Haro stubby thing as it had a Kashi on it and until I can find an Elina for Laser Lite it will go on that......

That's cool B. Thanks man :daumenhoch:

by the way Bendycat I think my Pro Burner used to belong to you ? Serial ***66 etc... i think u had whitwalls on it ?
-
Hi guys
so have we worked out what mine is? Why no gusset?????
Steve

:buck2:

Just looked at the sticker placement on the Aero with gusset and defo the same, looked at my frame and you can see where the stickers where as chrome not marked and placement length etc looks exactly the same where it was...
So its an Aero? we think
Steve
-
I've looked all over and the Aero brand is not like Aero Reflex for instance...I think just a reference to what is Aero tubing :(
you'rs has the same forks too...
i bought this cheap off ebay based on a small fuzzy foto in the hope the wheels were skyways, alas nay ... :uglystupid2:
-
Cheers Wez, I think I will split it for all the boys and girls and boys on here as its taking up space now.... Problem is I have no idea what these bits are worth..... It owes me peanuts but no idea to price stuff...
Steve
-
I would say there are a couple or more frame that were made by Jen Min - some have a tear drop areo tubing and some are just normal - some have a gusset plate and some have a headtube gusset
If you were making them you could just add the parts on for the different model - then offer it to the shop seller and he just gets which one he likes and he can sell it as frame and forks only or they could make it up with parts and sell it cheaper than a pro bmx model
wez - who did you by it off - got a pic ? ;)

I bought it off the bay from a guy down south, a bike shop...
Theres a snap on the pro register on burnerworld forum bottom of the post of how it was with whitewalls, where u have put the serial of frame and forks ***66* alongside it ...
