If you can find a set, Profile made 3-piece cranks for Powerlite - they're stamped Powerlite on the arms, came out around 94/95:

They're priced about the same as GT stamped ones - round about the £70 mark, although minty one's would set you back about £90.

Stock wheels on that would have been 36 Hole Mohawks and Weinmann Rims. If you keep an eye on the museum you should be able to build them up pretty cheap. :daumenhoch:
-
I've a set of wheels you might be interested in - 36h GT Mowhawk flip flop hubs & Rhythm System rims, PM me if you are interested.

Not rode it myself yet, I pop down to see my mate Dirt Bike Dave rippin' it up with his lad.
Had too much work going on at home at the minute to be riding kids bike's. :LolLolLolLol:
Couple of weeks and our house will be finito. Then that's the wife off my case.
I'll meet you there then and we can go round together and hold each others hand. ;D
I've got a track on my doorstep where I go with my lad It's not as big as the indoor so not half as daunting.

Hey smarty pants
at 43yrs of age I want as much rubber on the track as possibly thanks :P
-
Is that really your bike ?
-
Have to agree with ed on the tyres ,surfaces on modern tracks are so much better you might find those tyres don't grip as well as you think ,you'd have probably been better off with these
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx'modelID=35485
But at the end of the day it's down to personal choice
One Massive tip for you first time on the track TAKE IT SLOW!!!!
I was gonna start racing masters untill I fell of and broke my shoulder in 4 places!
The confidence was there but tracks are soooo much different and hard when you come off
-
I really like that Lee!! Spot on fella :daumenhoch:
That lever is meant to be on the left though dude, the cable guides on your top tube are designed for a lefty lever ;) ....Its more of a natural angle :daumenhoch:
-
Looks good Lee. :daumenhoch:
Ditch the tyres tho !
I had some on my GT Interceptor they aren't the best.I

maybe odd to some people but feels better for me
also all the other race bikes here seem to be rear on right.. ?
-
Fair doo's bud :daumenhoch:
As long as it works ok then thats the main thing :)
-
Is that really your bike ?
I wish Lee .. its lush innit ^"^
What Gav says is right ... for me I just need tan walls on my tyres 8)
-
I'd change the grips those cams will twist big time on powerlite bars!
