£100 ish :daumenhoch:
That should get you something decent Rog :daumenhoch:
-
£100 - just get a secondhand pair of profiles with axle (for around the £60/70 mark), and get yourself a new mid BB set for £20. Bob's yer uncle :daumenhoch:
-
Some new WTP royals on the bay, shop soiled for £28 posted.

They're top cranks.....would've got them myself if i needed some :daumenhoch:
-
Nice, but being the sulky-noo-noo that I am, by time you've bought a spindle, you could have had a secondhand pair of Profiles for the same price. Sorry to be a miserable sod ;)
-
cheers for the advice, these are the very first item purchased for the new build..(EF Proformer) :daumenhoch:
-
i know nothing about NS, its a learning curve , but £28 lighter, i can still change my mind :LolLolLolLol:
-
these are easily as good as profiles (if not even made by them??) ??? i've had both and loved my Royals :daumenhoch:
-
Top buy those royals. nothing in it compared to profiles.
-
I only say (and I'm not dissing anyone's choice!) as I had a mate crack them cranks, but he's a street rider and does do fookin huge gaps/drops. So na-na-ne-na-na ;D

And profiles don't break ???

Not saying that, just he swore by Profiles (as I have), tried the WTP cranks and they broke. He never broke any Profiles, just ground them up. Only giving advice based on my own experience. Hence the 'I'm not dissing anyone's choice' comment. :daumenhoch:
I've tried other cranks, and tbh Powerbites/Hollowbites come a close second if it wasn't for the pedal threads stripping out.

Primo Hollow/Powerbites every time, if You know how to install them properly :daumenhoch:

How do you install them properly fella - you mean with the old copper grease to stop thread lock? :)

Yep :daumenhoch: bit of copper slip or or decent grease on the pedal spindle threads & also on the spindle where the crank arms go to stop the dreaded creaking Primo's are known for :LolLolLolLol:
If the pedal inserts wind out thread lock the feckers in!

Then again fella, better creak than the old Profile wobble.....
