Wll at long last after all the teasing with the pics and my limited info here it is. Scot Breithaupt's 82 Floval Flyer, this was the OM's very last race bike and a true piece of BMX history. :4_17_5:
Will get some decent pics up after I've given it a clean.

There are some very special parts on the bike including the Prototype Inverted Pro Neck stem which Soct designed.

The fork are the 24" Prototype LG's with the solid drop out and horizontal SE stamp, these did'nt come out for another year.

The frame is a custom Factory Team ( 1 of 4 ) ever made and hand annodised in the one off colour. The lucky 4 riders to have them were Scot, Rod Beckering, Toby Henderson and Brian Lopez ( and now me ::))

Even the caliper was customised for the bike and annodised the same colour 8)

To top it all off I was offered the helmet Scot used with the bike 8)

Yup I'll be taking it for a spin when the snow has gone, Not going to sort the chain and cable as it's getting stripped and cleaned up. It was last raced by the OM in 84 in france I believe.

It's one thing to have a rare frame, or something desirable etc etc but to have a complete bike that was designed, built, raced and stored away by the OM of BMX is beyond cool for me. My vintage SE collection is almost complete just half a dozen frames to get built up over the next few years but getting this is the cherry on the cake... For now :-X

Simple story really, it was initially advertised on ebay of all places but I knew about the bike and it's potential sale long before that. So I spoke to the OM and the person who was advertising it (who's a collector in the states and a friend of mine). We worked a deal out and it became mine. Scot then contacted me about the helmet and various other parts he wanted me to have as part of my collection :daumenhoch:

The only other place for that would be `the American Museum of sporting history', if there is such a thing.
I know if it all went tits up and you needed the cash, then I guess they'd all go, like most people on here, but that really has no price to sell at.
And when you have had enough of it, drop it at mine, it's only the next village!!!
