remember a glut of them going for £20's or so about 2002ish, no one was familiar with them so didnt sell well

Anyway, these are fantastic forks and your right in saying they were used in the early stages of SE racing. These, Cycle pro and race inc were the most popular fork to be used but Cook Bros were also on the pro's list.
Darrell Young used them on his Round Tube Ripper :daumenhoch:
This is Darrell's actual frame, it went from Darrell to Jeff and then onto a friend of mine who restored it. It's currently undergoing another refit and new colour scheme the same as when DY raced it.

i knew it was gonna be tuff forks before even clicking on the link.
i had a used pair that was gonna use on my old RTT, never got round to it and sold the forks for about £200.
Regreted it as they are cool forks
I wouldnt be surprised if someone crazy pays $1500 for em, especially as their rusty nos.
