Title: PK Ripper Seat Post Diameter
Post by: Rossi46 on January 24, 2013, 08:07 PM: Hi folks. Just a quick one. Should a 22.2mm seatpost fit an early 80's loopy ripper ???

Post by: glenboy on January 24, 2013, 08:08 PM: the size is 13/16 ths of an inch which in new money is 20.63mm , they are slightly smaller than normal diameter uni seats did em for them but you want 13/16ths is the size you want

Post by: 58 delray on January 25, 2013, 08:42 AM: SE, Race Inc, Murray, strong and a few others all made 13/16 seat posts that will fit a loopy, make sure you have at least 5" inserted into the seat tube as it can cause cracking/snapping issues other wise :daumenhoch:

Good tip and thankyou once again. I generally like my posts pretty low anyway. I'm not a fan of the 'high' seatpost look. Just personal preference :)
