My 1978 Mongoose DeCoster for your viewing pleasure
This was a labour of love to build, it took about 2 years of changes to get it to this stage.

No regrets Ash (well maybe a tiny wee regret), but it was replaced by the R&R and Cook Bros so I think I had the best deal as they were the 2 bikes I really wanted.

Lumping fuuk,
That is a beut mate.
Just having a wee nosey on bikes of this age, 1978 being the year i was born.
What would i expect to pay for a rider condition bike of this age.
Cheers,
Allan

Depends what bike you were looking for, Schwinn and Huffy go for reasonable prices as do some mongoose. But if it has the right parts on it and folk are watching the "auction" they can go for big coin. Luck of the draw sometimes and you can get one for £100 but a week later the same bike could go foe £500.
