Some real nice bits on it to
GT pro bars
araya 7x
DC mx 1000
Shimano DX
few other treasure's in that shed too!!
Not sure what to do with it now, think i'll just give it a real good clean up
drop outs are mint, and the chrome frame will clean up easily.
-
great find hope you keep it and clean it up :)
-
Ace find :daumenhoch:
Give it a clean and leave it as is :4_17_5:
Restored ones draped in bling are ten a penny!
-
Top result, and hope for us all that they are still out there. :daumenhoch:
-
Wow! Hope you got a good deal on that, what a result. Now it needs turning into a vanderspek golden gate tribute... ;)
-
nice mate :daumenhoch:
as said above, just a bit of clean needed
-
Is it ok to be a little bit jealous?
-
You lucky sod. Nice one. :daumenhoch:

I to would give it a little clean up and leave it as it is :daumenhoch:
-
That is a great find and as said before, gives hope to us all that we may find something equally as nice in someones shed/garage/loft.So,what else was in the shed?? :daumenhoch:
-
Yeah man, Great find :daumenhoch:
Thats what its all about. Bet you were buzzin when he pulled that out?
-
Nice find and you've got some nice parts for it by the sounds of it. Rip all the old shite parts off it, get it repowdered and then rebuild it with the decent parts. 'suvivor' builds are being 'done to death' at the moment.
-
That's lovely, nice to see a survivor
-
crackin find.
a quick wipe over and leave it as is.
just by the comments on here should tell you what most think of NOS builds nowadays ;)
-
Great find :4_17_5:
Looks like it will clean up a treat 8)
-
clean the hell out of it . rebuild it with only new essentials, maybe some nice used pedals .. rechrome and re powder ta s are to common esp with the new stuff coming out this year to !!

Great find :4_17_5:

That is one amazing find and will make a great rider.
Enjoy it.
-
Put air in the tyres and ride it AWSOME :daumenhoch:
-
Great find!!! That would clean up with a bit of work, you'd probably enjoy it and it would be rewarding. Makes sense to leave it! Not to far gone. Set of new boots on it & it's good to go!!! :daumenhoch:
-
Top Score.
i wonder what else was hiding in the Shed....
-
Fair play son fair play ;)
-
Now that was worth your little trip :daumenhoch:
What a result :4_17_5:
;D Less than 1 minute down the road, walked there and rode home!
-
Did you bag anything else out of the 'shed' ::)
-
That's just such a good thing to see. I remember when I was last into this scene, about 2006 and there was another survivor knocking about on Radbmx, I'm sure it was a white TA with a z rim on the front and a tuff on the back. :smitten: Plenty of rust and still my favorite bike that I've ever seen on this site. I think it was auctioned off in a thread. Keep it as it is. B.O.T.M as far as I'm concerned.
Great find :daumenhoch:
-
Are tou sure you mean a T/A.. Oldsky ? ??? :)
The only old thread I remember with a bike with a Z on the front and a Tuff on the rear
and it got auctioned off
and I thought it was cool as hell
was this :)

I was out riding the night rhe RAD auction ended ,, I'd have won it too :crazy2:
because only Rhys Lazychubs bid £330 and won it :-\
Rom bloke eventually got it later and finished up doing an amazing job with a full resto :coolsmiley:
-
THAT WAS THE ONE :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:. Classic I can't believe you found it. God I really wanted that bike. Totally forgot it was a haro ............................ And that it was chrome :uglystupid2: but i got the rusty bit right ;)
Well remembered sir :daumenhoch:
I still cant stop looking at it.
:LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:
-
That gen 1 was ace :4_17_5:
I'd have left it alone
£330 :crazy2:
Bet the forks alone are worth more than that ???

I know it had a good parts list Mark :daumenhoch:
I was thinking of keeping it as it was ,,but Dave did such a good job in restoring it , it was more than justified  :4_17_5:

Oldsky I knew which bike you really meant , great minds and all that , I loved it too :smitten: :daumenhoch:
-
Fantastic resto, just as sweet before and after - I wonder what that would fetch in auction on here now... ???
-
how much are a set of bottema forks alone worth now :idiot2:
-
That's everyones dream 8) ... but why the secrecy over what you paid? ???
Did you get the freestyle platform in the background as well?
Went to a little holiday cottage in North Norfolk and my brother in law who was smoking in the garden came in an said 'theres an old bike locked up in that little shed out the back' - I legged it out there to find ... a fooking Chopper ... nice but no banana :(
-
Given this a good clean up now, no resto. just added a pad set, and inner tubes
The chrome on the frame is mint!

-
:4_17_5: Nice one!!! ;)
-
Oh yes :smitten:
A sympathetic restoration :daumenhoch:
and voila , one very charming T/A :coolsmiley:
Nothing else needs doing  ,,,,,, except
Ride it :4_17_5:
-
I like bikes that look like they are ready to hit the track and that one certainly does :daumenhoch:
-
So glad you didn't go overboard with the resto :4_17_5:
Amazing what a bit of elbow grease does :daumenhoch:
-
Looks great, and a fantastic story. Like someone before said, why won't you tell us how much you paid for it? Whether you paid £5 or £500, it's a great deal. I'd love to hear that you got it for a few quid. Lovely bike :smitten:
-
cracking bike and nice work :coolsmiley:
-
:4_17_5: lovely

:smitten:
-

-
Cleaned up nicely has that :smitten:
