Got bored today so I decided to strip and polish an old Tuf Neck ready for another Skyway TA I'm doing
(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/a217/steve167690/Stems/TufNeck5.jpg)
As normal I forgot to take any before pics but it was in pretty poor condition . . . originally, it had a brushed finish with the printed logo
I'm gonna do some further prep-work with 2000 grade wet'n'dry and hit it with the buffer one more time
Just need to get a new decal sorted now . . . yeah right :(
Cheers
Steve ;)

I'm pretty sure the round tiger head decals were only used on the early generation stems and seat posts, etc :-\
I'd prefer to have the correct decal and wait to get some printed if possible . . . will keep you updated if I get anything sorted
Cheers

i could do with a set of the Allen bolts for a Tuf-Neck if anybody has bought a bagfull & has any spare?
i took them out to go & match them up but seem to have lost them :crazy2:

Hypothetically speaking. If someone was to spend their saturay evening tracing the Tuf Neck logo, and then ordered a few sheets of transfer paper and made some of these up, do you think there'd be much call for them then?

Depends how much you want to spend really
- Clean all steel hardware on a bench wheel and give them a quick flick with satin black spray paint . . . cheapest method
- Replace them with a new bolt kit . . . sometimes available to buy on ebay
- Get a metal finishers to recoat them . . . most expensive method
Hope this helps
