Just thinking about this after reading toms thread.
If lightning struck you down which of the bikes you have either put together or have just owned is your favourite & if different which do you think most people probably think of when your names mentioned?
-
Answer to both questions for me is probably the Peregrine CLP. :daumenhoch:

and Tange Hot Heart , for all the wrong reasons :daumenhoch: :2funny:

Answer to both, gotta be the Thruster...........

Missus disagreed with me, said most people would think of the black GT, my first build. It's ridden (and fallen off) so 'scuse the layback post on a standard frame........

One i'd have to keep may be my DY

One people would think of with me is prob a Trick Star
(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/uu313/wildon1974/DSCN1865.jpg)

White 1985 factory spec Master, if I had to sell everything else this would be the only one i'd keep, my ultimate BMX :smitten:

To keep would probably be this.
One that others remember :-\
Probably either of these ???
Although I don't think I've built my best bike yet!
-
Some interesting replies already.
Mark I see what you mean.
Terry & Nick that's how I thought.
For me it's probably this. It's not how I want it yet and will take me some time to get it that way. It was built with a version as inspiration but I would love to get it as they did in the 80 season before things changed.

The one that probably comes to mind I think would be this.

-
Christ, friggin hard question........
I think it would have to be the Zeronine...........or the MRD.........or my two Rickmans.............or the Nishiki.......... or the Profile i'm building now. :-\ :-\ :-\
Nuts, do i have to choose just one Glynn. >:(
-
I'd keep my kappa.. Just like it.
-
My favourite then for the work involved as this was completely fire damaged would be my Rickman Pro.
and the one people seem to know me for most would be the Zeronine Pro XL.

I can maybe manage to get down to 10 :daumenhoch:,
,or 12 :-\ :LolLolLolLol:
-
I know you get attached to them don't you Andy . :LolLolLolLol:
It's good seeing how for some it is one. For the guys that have posted two so far they are just what pops in my mind.
Looking forward to seeing a few more because quite a few guys on here create a certain build image in my mind, good to see if they get that perception but have different ideas at heart. 8)

Never was a big lover of those cranks tbh until i saw this. You just have the flow right down and it works so well on that build. :smitten: :coolsmiley:

Damn good question that but for me a pretty simple answer for now, I'll go out on a limb here and say most will remember me for my SE's...but could be wrong :D And my RTT has always had lots of praise, still get loads of pm's asking to sell it too ;D
(http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb413/kungfunky/0083.jpg)
As for my fave, it's my blue Portland Bike shop BD-III. I take a lot of time building my bikes but this was by far my toughest and longest build but also most enjoyable because of all the research I put into it.

Not on here , but in Burnerland , the bike that I'd say most people think of is my Burner GSX which I restored and have owned since 1984 ..... it's also the one bike I'd never get rid of .

My Redline PL24 F+F acquired from Timothy and hence stickered up as a 'March' :Great_Britain:
Built up with 180mm 400s, DX pedals, Suntour sealed hubs/Araya rims, cromo Elina UL combo, early inverted Crupi stem, CW cruiser bars which I snapped so upgraded to Revcore. I'll add picks when I get home.
-
Right now, this one:
