Title: Haro question....
Post by: WINI on February 14, 2013, 08:36 PM
According to the 1984 catalogue I have, the 84 Master came with a forklifter stem as standard, yet I've seen a few builds with what seems to be a Suntour on (also claiming to be factory spec).  So which is correct, or did they come with either/both?

 :(

Both. 84 was the transition from American made haro's at the start of the year to Taiwan made ones in the later part of the year.  :daumenhoch:

I'm sure the forklifter stem was on the later ones.

torker made masters were only available as f&f so you can put anything you like on
only started as completes from gen 3 when being made overseas

Cheers boys.  So the pic of the complete in the 84 catalogue with the VC10's on was  the later overseas model?

Brilliant, just what I was after Dom. The 3rd gen Taiwanese were the first completes for sale then. I missed those specs on your site previously  :crazy2:

Check out the tests on the site aswell, the freestylin test mentions the tioga stem (Torker made 1st gen Master pictured) the catalogue actually shows a Torker made 2nd gen Master with what looks like a suntour, but as you guys have said the Torker frames were never sold as completes. Check out the French test on the Master which shows they went over to the Redline stem Anlun bars on the  overseas completes.
