Title: Just finished my first build - an 83 Kuwahara Nova

Might not be factory spec or show standard but I am well chuffed with the way it turned out.

Flip your seat clamp upside down though, nobody will spot it's a repop then. ;)

Not that there's anything wrong with repop parts :yahoo_silent:

Went for a ride this afternoon, first time I had been on a BMX for years and felt so good.

Reckon my SE Draft Lite will be up for sale soon.  ;)

real nice , maybe try with no front brake for a cleaner look ? just a suggestion. again- real nice !

Still tweaking bits and pieces to get a comfortable ride - seat movement is in the offing for sure.

The smiley dust caps are actually from Halfords - I couldn't resist them.

Thanks again for all the positive comments. In the process of being skinted out buying a flat so will be the only build for a while.

I have not been on a track for nearly 30 years but I wouldn't mind having a go. The North is a bit far for me though.

I said that about a year ago ! There are a few lads up here and the track is just near my house but travelled a bit last season BMX is still going strong ! They are nice to build and yours is spot on but racing is the nuts !! It sure turns back the clock ! You can always put your hat in the ring at MK this year ! I will be trying to get there !!

If there was old school racing in the south I would have a go for sure. I still can't work out how it is okay in the north but not in the south.

MK is the most likely place where i will be seen on a track next I guess.
