after my car mot and £345 down :'( had 5 mins to spare today, so over dads to put some wheels. tyres and a chain on for a quick spin brakeless around the block.
i dont know how those young un ride like that, its crazy!!
'kin 'ell being 18 stone is a bit hard as well, did manage a bunnyhop and a wheelie for my kids!!
am i doing the right thing here?? or should i grow old gracefully
(photos to follow when done but its looking ok :daumenhoch:)

Ride it.
Grow old disgracefully.
-
Is that not a suger baby or somthing? Or is it a Taiwan bd?
-
Taiwan big daddy, i bought it complete in 1996/7 sold it 9 years ago and found it last year and bought it back!!
-
Thats awesome that this is your old bike! Wish I could get some of my old bikes back.
-
Yes Jon, that why i'm fond of yours, it wont be like when i let it go but if my body takes it i want to try to ride.
i still had my supergoose 3 from 1983 and diamond back viper from 1984 along with some bits until last year, i put them on ebay for 99p!! before i joined here, wish i kept it all now. a few buyers from here i think
-
Real cool!!
-
little set back today, bottom gyro cup was out of shape and cables wouldnt thread through, had a new sst oryg so swapped all the bits, first time the forks had been out in 17 years, greased it up and put it back together, just need to fit the brakes and drill the pegs to 14mm and i'm all done (if i can get a drill bit) happy days :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:
-
I bought a blacksmiths drill bit from toolstation for about £4 :daumenhoch:
The shank is stepped down to 12.7mm so providing your drill can take a 13mm bit it will fit :daumenhoch:
