I want to start building my Ruffell rep but need to mod the front 1000... Ive never done it before so how do I remove the quick release?

rich I managed it when I was 15 so I'm sure you can do it... just drill the fixing through the hole, or grind the end off until the quick release drops off :D :daumenhoch:

I like that idea! Looks easier! ;D Although I need to have it exactly the same as Neil's...but not 100% which one he had...

first centre punch rivet
then use a 3mm drill bit for a pilot hole then use a larger drill to remove rivet,as far as i can remember 6mm

yep rich did it on the gaystar above and although doesn't look perfect , you can put it back to normal as its only screwed in different , the only thing i needed was the dome washer (improvised) on the cable holder on the caliper , and the brake worked perfect

I filled the back off one last week, no drilling needed
