The rider.
ZX-3, similar geometry to the Pistol Pete but 1/2" shorter on the top tube, and with that seat tube rake, it makes one hell of a difference lol.
Brakes now changed to chrome DC Tech III/MX1000 combo.

Yeah where is that track??
Nice looking setup that (bike and track!!)
-
Track is in New Waltham, Grimsby.
just a little 4 laner for the local kids to thrash around.
-
Very nice, dont see them often. :)
-
that is bloody awesome, really nice to see something a bit differant.i have to say that the cw's are beautiful to ride, they are so roomy and responsive :smitten:
-
I had one myself, exact same model. Geometry didn't suit me. It felt like the bb was too far forward. Could've done with the seattube steepening up but maintaining the chainstay and toptube length. CW's always look well though. :)

That's a sweet CW Nick :coolsmiley: :smitten:
Reminds me of JT Smooths old race hack :) 8)

Exactly Ben
Alot of people fail to realise the slack rake seat tube has a reverse affect , by bringing the bb and your cranks forward :crazy2:
you stand up to pedal and you are infact a lot closer to the stem ,(probably the same as with a 18" top tube )
Haro Group 1 's are the same , bloody lovely 21" top tube length and then put a daft seat tube rake which makes the bb feel like your riding a normal 19" or 18.5 pro
People didn't notice the same back then ,,as all bikes were relatively short :)
That aside , they're a great looking bike ,, and Pete Longcarevich rode both the CW and the Haro and was a Pro World Champion
