Right then guys, im building my 2-Hip Stout Boy very soon and have stumbled across a bit of a problemo....
The rear brake will be an AD990 that is lugged on the chainstays, the gyro cables are routed on the downtube and then go through the bottom of the seat tube to where the brake is.....
The problem ive got is that there is literally just a hole that is drilled through the seat tube. Its not threaded for a barrel adjuster or anything?
What can I use to mount inside the hole so that the cable can be adjusted nearer the brake? Jaymz has recently encountered a similar problem with his and loosely pushed a barrel adjuster in place through the hole so that when the cable is under tension it doesnt move. Is this the only way as my mind has gone blank :-\

won't a barrell adjuster just sit in the hole and stay there with the tension on the cable? does it need to be threaded? ???
-
Yes as above. Just leave a barrel adjuster in the hole. :daumenhoch:

Yep it will sit there under tension if i want it to.....Im just a bit more finicky :LolLolLolLol:
Ideally i'd like it to sit in the hole nice and secure :daumenhoch:
