Title: that old chestnut again - v-bar id help please
Post by: KeithyT on March 13, 2013, 02:47 PM
I know this sort of question comes up a fair bit but can anyone please help on ID/era/genuine brand or cheap copy etc. for these V-bars?

Unknurled, no stamp or decals, 27.5" wide, 9.5" height, 6" height to V

Not sure Peter, this is a potential buy only for me at the moment. If alloy, what are you thinking?

EDIT: just been informed they are steel.

Looking at them again, I can't help thinking they look very similar geometry-wise (and the shape of the bottom angles nearest the unknurled stem area) to the bars on the new KE-01 E.T. replica re-issue (or am I way off there?)  :-\
