To say it worked is an understatement
Cheers for the advice Steve

so how do you do it the oven pride way
do you have to place it in the bag with the solution.
also i would leave as is

I've used caustic soda for the last few bits of anno stripping I've done. SBD told me about it. I nearly fooked a Primo Hollowbite crank arm. I left it in ovenpride and forgot about it :crazy2:
Stem looks sweet :daumenhoch:

I put it in an old plastic tub and left it for an hour or so,most of the anno comes straight of, but the more stubborn bit came off in soap and water with a good scrub :daumenhoch:

rather than leave it in a tub and you may forget about it, try my advice i gave gary, 1 small tub of costic soda, cost a couple
of pounds :) have two tubs ready, one for the costic and the other for wash off or do it next to a sink, pour boiling hot water
into the tub and sprinkle some costic soda into the tub, then imerse your part and it will start fissing and bubbling straight
away, the part will go to raw alli in seconds, just dunk in and out a few times untill it look pure alli then wash under the sink
or dunk in the tub of cold water, works every time and done straight away :daumenhoch:

Well tidy :daumenhoch:

I would recomend doing it outside as the fumes can be abit strong :buck2:
