so that's to use a 10mm drill to get a 11mm hole - as i thought that the hole had a little tapper on the top ?
any original rim close ups ?
cheers B

my original ones didn't have a small countersink, just a straight hole. i did give the ones on my ammaco a little countersink just to get rid of the sharp edge. here's a pic of my originals before i stripped them of the silver ano. sorry not the best pic

a drill and a drill bit works great :daumenhoch:

mark out rim then use a 3mm drill bit as a pilot hole then work up in stages to 10-11mm :daumenhoch:

Looking sweet Poochy, what are they going on ?
-
What about a cone step drill. Nice finish from them.
-
t's getting it in straight and maybe making a jig ?
-
My originals look like they were drilled from inside the rim (obviously on an unbuilt wheel... :idiot2:) and then a larger drill was used to remove the burrs from the outside where the rim tape goes.
Looks like it was done by a blind monkey on crack though.....

Good point bendy. Now, wheres that skyway rim guy, he may have zytel creation on his hands.. in plastic.
