.... but am i right in thinking the difference between a GT pro performer and a standard performer was just the parts that came stock on the bike?  :-[

how can you check its a performer or a pro performer?  ;)

I am sure Steve will be along soon to give the correct answer,but i think a pro performer will be stamped GT 4130 behind the seat tube and a performer will be just GT.I am sure there are probably other differences too which someone more knowledgeable will be able to enlighten us! . :daumenhoch:

Before 1987 there all GT4130 stamped in my believing...

my 1984 is a performer with also the same stamp...
