Title: Pro Class rim tape

A long shot I know but does anyone know where I can get hold of some Pro Class rim tape, I'm looking for the black/silver stylee stuff, cheers.

Other members have used Xmas Wrapping tape of the non sticky variety, apparently it works a treat as I am sure others will testify :daumenhoch:

Apparently mylar (sp?) is the stuff you want, and sign writers use it.

you can often find pukka mongoose tape on the bay
but any shiny metallic ribbon should do

I went to a local craft shop and bought ribbon, they have loads of different sizes, styles and colours.  Just put some rim tape over that to protect the inner tube.

i used xmas ribbon on my ripper worked a treat,just make sure you pull it nice and tight,then stick with a strong tape carefully cut out valve hole with craft knife and fit new rubber rim strip,this holds it in correct position :daumenhoch:

The best thing to do is to get a hold of some old nasty rim strips that nobody wants and just lay this ribbon right on top!  Works like a charm!
