Title: Newer school threaded headset advice

One of the kids in my road needs a new headset on his bmx,its a newer DB bike frame with some gyro tab thingy but it needs a new headset? It still has threaded forks but the headset isn't at all like the ones I have so?

a. what size headset do I need

b. where do I get one online from cheap ;)

Pics/model name might help....Is it a clamp on stem?

I dunno? all I know is its a DB and what I said above ??? is it a 1 1/8 threaded maybe?

If it has threaded forks then there`ll not be much difference (apart from size) From an OS headset.It could well bve a 1 1/8 threaded h/set with a clamp-on stem.Measure the steerer tube diameter to be sure then E-Bay `s prob your best bet.

the stem on it is also a 1" shafted exactly the same as my old school ones :daumenhoch:
