Well I've been lurking on here for a while now but now it's time to show what I'm up to.

I used to ride a 96 Taiwan Taj that I absolutely loved until it's cracked stay demise (I still have that frame at home)
A few years later, some kid strolled into the local park riding this chrome beast that we identified as a US ramp room made one (lower wishbone, no stamp, slightly diff wishbone). After a quick exchange of cash it was mine!
It's now been sat around for a few years hence the paintjob, and the half butchered 14mm conversion (what was I thinking!)

Build-wise, I was thinking about speccing it as  close to what I ran as possible (I have a photo somewhere I need to dig out) but now I'm thinking of getting it close to Taj's ride below
So far I've got the frame, forks and a shafted blue Redneck (that I'll likely strip and polish)

Anyone else agree this is more of a painted baby blue rather than the metallic baby blue the completes came in?

it looked more a lilac colour too me too.

If your building taj rep then you want a TNT stem, and that seat can set you bk upto £200 if you can find 1! Defo build a rep that would be sweet!

 The ramp room Taj's are a flat baby blue whilst the Taiwanese are more of a pearlescent.

No it's a kashimax fusion seat it came on 89 bashy masters and 91 airmasters but it is the same shell as the tioga

I always thought Taj's bike was lilac, the pedals look like he did a dodgy purple spray job over blue  :-\

I've got a Kashimax Fusion seat(RS)...quite scuffed, and only got 3 holes in it so don't think it's that one, Olly 200 quid and it's yours  :daumenhoch:

I think the biggest problem I'm going to have is getting a hold of a set of Low drag bars, can't seem to find a set anywhere!

You'll struggle to get an early set, but Taiwan Low drags pop up here and there.

I'm getting my illustrator friend to draw some up to get reprinted so I'll let you know when I do.
Probably get the black with baby blue/gold done.

Very nice, can't wait to see how yours turns out.

Ive tried to find out exactly what wheel Taj ran BITD, but I'm still unsure. So I have these on for the moment, they're Araya Super7X's laced to GT Mohawk sealed hubs. Thanks for the props.  :)
