Title: Cheap gyro for new school bike
Post by: paulb113 on April 21, 2013, 03:49 PM
Hi

Would these work on a new school bike?

http://www.evanscycles.com/products/blank/gyro-set-ec026297?utm_source=froogle&utm_medium=froogle&utm_campaign=froogle&utm_content=mkwid__pcrid_17321847296_kword__match__plid_#reviews

Would i need the vocal gyro plate, or is there a cheaper option?

Thanks :)

That is a new school gyro (all be it a cheap one) it looks like it comes with everything you need and you shouldn't need a vocal plate

Cheers, I don't want to spend much and I don't like running the long cable to spin the bars. My new school skills are very limited at the moment :LolLolLolLol: I managed to drop into a mini ramp today and do a few small jumps so more for just stopping the bike at the moment :)

If you don't/can't spin the bars I wouldn't bother with one, just run a linear cable  :daumenhoch:

Pickle this is the kind of stuff I have been re learning on my old school FST a couple of weeks ago so would be good to have the option of trying it on the new bike :)

I ordered one, silly question do the taps fit into either hole bike has two either side?  I went to local skatepark yesterday on both bikes but spent most of my time doing old school tricks on the Fst like cherry pickers, surving, decades etc. I lost my bottle on new school bike and had to slide down ramp holding the bike too worried to drop in :LolLolLolLol:
